As we immerse ourselves in our customs and traditions, forging connections within our community, we cultivate mutual respect and growth. This includes standing by each other through both challenging and joyous times, fostering a sanctuary from the tumult of the world around us.
Within the Gaulish community, we strive to provide a haven where individuals can find solace from life’s trials, a sacred space for dialogue on all things Gaulish. It’s a collective effort, each of us contributing in our own unique ways to maintain this temple space. Our community gates welcome all who embody kindness and compassion, irrespective of genetics, race, sexual orientation, or ancestry, for our Deuoi embrace all. However, there are moments when these gates are shut, signaled by the Carnyx’s call, as we confront attempts to infiltrate our spaces with oppressive ideologies. We adamantly reject racist, homophobic, or fascist rhetoric, determined to safeguard our community from such harmful influences. Addressing these narrow-minded individuals presents varied challenges. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, as each situation and individual perspective differ. Some confront them directly, driven by emotion, while others prefer silent dissent or reasoned discourse. Regardless of the method, the prevalence of such oppressive thoughts within our Gaulish sphere is disheartening and must be actively countered.
It’s crucial to be cautious not to inadvertently amplify their voices or grant them undue attention. Engaging with them online, where any form of interaction can inadvertently promote their agenda, requires careful consideration. By exposing them publicly, we risk inadvertently bolstering their ranks, as social media thrives on visibility, regardless of intent. Instead of merely denouncing them without effect, let’s collaborate on constructive solutions. United by our shared values and the support of the Seongalatis and Deuoi, we can navigate the best course of action together. We must embody our virtues as ambassadors, exercising discernment when confronting such individuals, particularly in public forums. Our actions should align with our principles, guided by the tenets of duty, right speech, and justice, as dictated by our sacred Druidic law of Delge āxtam “Hold your behavior”
Those who espouse racist or fascist ideologies are not true Gaulish Pagans, contradicting the essence of Gaulish customs. Our gates remain open to those who seek knowledge and wish to participate in the Bessus.
Our Carnux is loud, and our Deuoi are many.
