I understand that there are individuals who may harbor negative feelings towards me. It’s quite possible that the majority might feel this way, and that’s perfectly fine. My demeanor may come across as firm and direct, perhaps overly confident, which can be challenging for some to accept. There are those who dislike my inclination to simplify concepts and to define things that others might prefer left ambiguous. However, it’s important to recognize that we are constantly evolving, and definitions are constantly being refined.
Having been a part of the Greater Gaulish and Druid Community for a considerable amount of time, I deeply appreciate witnessing the efforts of each member. Whether it’s through artwork, poetry, prayers, recipes, or in-depth research on various subjects ranging from tribal customs to animal behavior, it’s truly inspiring to see how Gaulish traditions help individuals emerge from the shadows of self-doubt and use these traditions as sources of motivation. I understand that sharing one’s passions with the world can be daunting, as fear of external judgment often lingers. Yet, it’s crucial to disregard such fears, especially those stemming from individuals who belittle the endeavors of others simply because it doesn’t align with their own viewpoints. While it’s natural not to agree with everything, there’s no need to disparage the efforts of others. Let us live with integrity according to our own values.
Consider this scenario: If I were to visit a friend’s home and they proudly showed me a new painting they had created, even if I didn’t particularly care for the painting, I wouldn’t criticize it. Instead, I would commend their dedication and hard work, acknowledging the personal journey reflected in their creation. Similarly, in our interactions within the Gaulish Community, it’s essential to treat others with the same respect and kindness that we ourselves desire.
This community is my tribe, and I implore others not to undermine its significance. Within this community, there are individuals who possess remarkable intelligence and passion. Disrespecting them simply because of differences in opinion is highly detrimental. Let us strive to be virtuous and honorable in our actions and words, refraining from engaging in derogatory behavior. Criticism and name-calling only serve to inflict emotional harm on others.
For me, this tribe holds great meaning. Witnessing its growth each day fills me with a sense of awe and gratitude. Learning from each member, whether through art, articles, or simple conversations, is a truly enriching experience. To those who may harbor animosity towards me or what I represent, I kindly request that you allow us the freedom to pursue our endeavors. Just as we respect your autonomy, we ask for the same courtesy in return. Let us foster a sense of community where diverse perspectives are celebrated, rather than pitted against one another. My creation of the Gaulish Polytheism Website was driven by the desire to showcase the contributions of every member, regardless of personal agreement, because I value each individual within the community deeply.
The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.
