Gaulish Druidism, Gaulish Paganism

To start casting your Runoi it is always good to create a discipline for the self especially if you are going to be reading for others or doing readings for a group you may be in. So getting in the right space and energy is very important. As you want to not only make yourself comfortable but also those that you are reading for.

Create The Atmosphere

  • Preparation
    • Have a space where you can focus without distractions. Turn off white/blue lights any cool lights will interfere with the environment you are trying to create. You want a warm light yellow colored. The best would be candlelight. Dedicate a Brattos corbi (casting cloth) made from whatever you like but let it remain as that.
  • Centering and grounding
    • Take a few moments to clear your mind, focus your intention, and ground yourself.
  • The Lighting
    • Now have a candle or two ready to light and light your choice of incense I use Vanilla as it is a warming and comforting smell. It helps to create calmness in the air.
  • Cleansing and Blessing
    • Cleanse and consecrate your Runoi using Mugowort and Sacred water, take the mugwort in the left hand (as that is favorable in Gaulish Paganism) and slowly make a circle over the Runoi as you gently blow the smoke on them when done take the sacred water and flick some on them, this is to remove any lingering energies.
  • Invocation and Connection
    • Call Bricta to help guide you.
If you have specific spiritual guides or deities you work with, invite their presence to provide insights and protection during the divination.
Ones does not have to say the below out loud, simply say it to yourself and leave an offering of Water Lily/Baditis. This can be dried and sprinkled on the table, or It can be freshly picked.
      • Water lilies symbolize mystery, hidden depths, and the ethereal qualities that align with her domain as the goddess of magic. It is one of the herbs that the Senogalatis used. You can find more HERE.
    • Brixta, Enchantress, heed my plea,
      Intentions whispered, intentions free,
      Mystic waters, depths concealed,
Where hidden truths are slowly revealed.
    • Brixta, Goddess, magic’s embrace,
Veiled secrets flourish in your space,
      Guiding divination’s rhythmic art,
With each Runoi revealed, wisdom imparts.

Bricta, the goddess of magic, her presence resonates with the very essence of enchantment and spellcraft. Within her ethereal realm, the currents of weightless water whisper secrets of arcane arts and unseen forces that shape reality. Her touch imbues healing energies with the power to mend both body and spirit. Yet, it is within the realm of magic that her influence truly flourishes—a realm where ancient wisdom converges with the transformative essence of Antumnos (The Otherworld).

  • Divination Process
    • Before one begins make sure to ask the participant or the self a question (Rember the simpler the question the simpler the answer) Cast them using one of the Canton methods. Now Reflect on the symbols and carefully interpret the symbols, patterns, or messages that emerge. Trust your intuition and any guidance that comes to you. Internalize the insights taking time to reflect on the messages received and how they relate to your intentions. Consider how they resonate with the question at hand. So slowly guide the individual to the insight you received.
  • Closing of the Atmosphere
    • Thank Bricta
      • Thanks to you, Bricta, for guiding me through’
    • Put out the flame, do not blow it out but rather snuff it out.
